A new campus-based university in Awe
Hector University is being established as a private university at 7 University Avenue, Awe, Oyo 211106, Nigeria. The launch position is honest: a real campus with a main building, a purpose-built lecture room and a computer laboratory, shown on this site without staged student photography. The website is the public record. What is shown can be verified on a visit. What is not yet published is confirmed through the admissions team.
Founding purpose
The founding purpose draws on three themes from the brand guide:
- Clear knowledge — each programme explains what will be studied and how progress will be assessed;
- Professional confidence — teaching connects explanation with practical work in spaces built for focused study;
- Useful contribution — students are guided to work that matters beyond the classroom.
These themes shape the language across this site: short paragraphs, direct labels, and visible contact routes. Paragraphs are kept concise so families can compare Hector with other choices without decoding marketing language.
Draft notice: Any founder, mission, vision or governance statement beyond the three themes above is draft until approved. When approved, it will replace this notice with a dated entry.
Campus location

Academic direction
Hector’s academic work is organised around clarity and practice. Each programme guide, when published, will state the award and normal duration, entry requirements and required subjects, main areas of study, practical or project elements where applicable, learning spaces, student guidance, and the approved fee and application route. No fictional programme entries are published. The Academics page explains the teaching approach and, where no programmes are yet approved, shows an admissions contact panel instead of empty cards.
Governance and leadership
Leadership and governance information will be published only when verified and approved. Until then, enquiries about structure, accreditation or partnership should be directed to admissions. This avoids publishing claims that cannot yet be supported and keeps the site consistent with the trust rules: no invented accreditation, rankings, student counts, employability rates, faculty totals or scholarship statements.

- Prospective students use it to see the campus, understand the academic approach, and prepare questions for admissions.
